Personal Media Manager 2.8

Curieux36 has just informed us that version 2.8 of his Personal Media Manager app is now out. PMM can be used to organize your movies, music, homebrew applications, images, ISOs, and DAX and CSO files.

It’s been more than a month since the last update, so we expected v2.8 to have quite a bit in terms of changes. We weren’t disappointed. It’s even got a nifty new feature that lets you create PSX EBOOTs. Check below for the full changelog.

General :

• Add firmware 3.0x and Devhook 3.0x and 3.02OE
• Fixed the bug on display messagebox
• Add choice of list backgroud color

Manage ISO :

• Add JSO compression
• Relook convert ISO form

Gestion des videos :

• Relook convert MP4/PMP form
• Rewriting movie encoding
• Fixed the crash bug on select RMVB movie
• Optimize movie encoding
• Add multiselect movie for multi encoding

Manage MP3 :

• Fixed Bugs
• Add WMA support
• Relook covert MP3/WAV form
• Add direct CD RIPP to WMA

Manage Homebrews :

• Rewriting manage homebrew (PSP/GAME and PSP/GAME150)
• Fixed the freeze bug on manage homebrew

New option: Manage PSX ISO :

• Add new option to create PSX EBOOT (need EBOOT.PBP of Hot Shot Golf 2)
• Change display picture of PSX EBOOT
• Direct copy on PSP
