PES 6 patch available soon
After shipping three million copies of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 all across Europe, Konami is now getting ready for another big release, albeit of a different kind.
The Japanese software house has recently announced that they will be coming out with a patch for PES 6. This patch should address the lag and matchmaking issues that plagued early adopters on Xbox Live. Konami says that the patch will be available soon, but we don’t have an accurate timetable for the release just yet.
Anyway, kudos to Konami for moving fast to correct these issues (although it would have been way better if the game didn’t have these issues from the get-go). Here’s hoping that the patch does what it’s meant to do and that it drops soon so gamers can go back to doing what they bought the game to do: score some kickass goals.
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 will also be released for the PSP in December and the Nintendo DS in January.
