Pew-pew-pew: WipEout HD ‘Wiped’ gameplay video
If you’re still on the fence, trying to figure out if WipEout HD is worth getting, especially without a demo to go by, maybe this gameplay vid will help you decide. The release date is looming (the game goes live next week!), so you better think fast. Do you want your seizures hot… or cold?
I know some of you (yes, I do read your comments!) are still on the fence, trying to figure out if WipEout HD is worth getting, especially without a demo to go by. The release is already clocked for next week on PlayStation Network US and Europe, and while this isn’t a demo, maybe this gameplay clip could help you decide.
The video looks pretty tame – considering all the hype about the game supposedly inducing seizures. Eccentrically strobing colors or otherwise, WipEout HD still retains all the other WipEout elements we’re familiar with. The fast paced pew-pew-pew action’s there, and the music track is great too (one of the reasons why I’ve always liked WipEout, by the way – the music’s perfect).
