Phantasy Star Universe GUARDIANS License info
We’ve already posted earlier here on QJ that today marks the launch of the Phantasy Star Universe multiplayer open beta for the Xbox 360. In that same post, we also mentioned that that those who download the 940MB demo will also get a temporary GUARDIANS License. With the temporary license expiring at 12:00 a.m. on October 18th, we thought that maybe we should also let you guys know just what a GUARDIANS License is.
Basically, it enhances and enriches the single-player story mode of Phantasy Star Universe by letting those who have the license meet other players, form alliances, and embark on a huge variety of online quests within the game’s environment. With a GUARDIANS License, gamers can fully experience the new customisable and highly interactive features in online mode including character creation, My Room (a kind of personalized online space), expansive interactive lobbies, shops, and new missions.
The free-trial beta download period ends on October 18, but if by some bizarre chain of events you’re not able to get your hands on the demo and the temporary license, don’t worry because Sega has announced that the GUARDIANS License will also be available for purchase on November 24, the same day that Phantasy Star Universe hits store shelves. If you just can’t wait, we recommend you fire up your Xbox 360 and start downloading the demo now to try it out.
