Phantom wireless lapboard still a ghostly figure but…

Phantom lapboard

Have you given up on the Phantom wireless lapboard? We can’t blame you. That thing has attracted more bad luck than a black cat with the Hope Diamond tied around its neck. In case you tuned in late, let’s do a quickie seance.

The Phantom Lapboard is a wireless keyboard, laser mouse, and hard surface combo. It’s designed to make working and playing games from a couch, easy chair, or any home or office setting easier. The Lapboard includes wireless technology, ergonomic design, one-touch features, and a wireless laser mouse. The keyboard rotates 360-degrees to accommodate left or right-handed users and can be inclined to a 22-degree angle with a hard surface below for the Phantom Laser Mouse. It also works for both PC and Mac

Now that you know what it is, time for us to tell you what happened to it. So far, nothing. It’s been scheduled for more re-launching than a Space shuttle with a leaking gas tank. But finally, Phantom Entertainment announced its next-gen keyboard will finally make a public apparition at the 2007 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas in January.

The company is finally confident enough to push with its marketing plans so we guess we will finally get to see the elusive Phantom wireless lapboard real soon.
