phone 16′ It’s Glowtime ‘ event hints at big Apple Intelligence focus
Apple has confirmed that its iPhone 16 event will take place on Monday, September 9. The ‘It’s Glowtime” event came with a revealing animation and press invite. Apple Intelligence is a strong vibe with this latest invite. While some invites have minimal secret meanings, this one has a lot of it. Apple’s iPhone 16 lineup will include four different models.
iPhone 16 Plus
iPhone 16 Pro
iPhone 16 Pro Max
Apple gives the year-old Pro chip to its more affordable siblings. This is changing this year, with the entire iPhone 16 lineup expected to receive A18-class chips. Apple’s A18 is expected to have a much better Neural Engine compared to its predecessors. Apple Intelligence gets a perfect upgrade. The ‘It’s Glowtime’ event animation and invitation seems to confirm Apple will be heavily pushing AI in its September 9th presentation. The iPhone 16, 16 Plus and 16 Pro Max, as well as the iPhone 16, 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max, will all get the new Siri. Or, at least, when iOS 18.1 with Apple Intelligence launches in October. Due to Apple Intelligence being delayed out of the original iOS 18.0 release new iPhone buyers will not get to enjoy “glowtime” until a later software upgrade. Do we read too much into things?
