Pirates of the Burning Sea: Forum moderation policies updated
Rhaegar over at the official Pirates of the Burning Sea web site announced that the MMO’s community moderation team will be making some changes to their forum policies.
Wondering how they’ll be keelhauling the misbehaving miscreants these days? Read the full article and find out!
Just because you play as a buccaneer in Flying Labs Software’s Pirates of the Burning Seas MMORPG doesn’t you have to act it to the hilt. Specifically, the role’s accompanying potty mouth.
This is the point being laid across by Rhaegar, who’s announcing that the PotBS Forums has just updated its moderation policies.
Rhaegar explained that they were improving their community policies to match up with the growing number of players that the MMO was picking up. Here’s an excerpt from Rhaegar’s post to give you an idea of how the mods will now be wielding their ban hammers:
Well, website users who post something that violates the Community Rules will receive a warning. If you rack up enough warnings, you will get an automatic temporary ban. Over time if you continue to break the rules these bans become more and more severe and can result in a permanent revocation of your forum privileges.
You shouldn’t have anything to worry about walking the plank if you’ve been a well-behaved pirate (contradiction of terms there…). Those interested in viewing the community rules will want to visit the PotBS official site via the source link.
