Pirates of the Burning Sea NDA, pre-order status update
Flying Lab Software has a couple of updates regarding its MMORPG Pirates of the Burning Sea in relation to the Open Beta plan, European and Australian pre-orders, and its non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

For those who want to share their beta experiences with other people, take note that the NDA has finally been lifted. You can now create articles and forum posts about Pirates of the Burning Sea.
This game is expected to officially launch on January 22, 2008. Until then, we have to keep tabs on updates from Flying Lab Software for Pirates of the Burning Sea. In the meantime, just take a look at the following reminders:
PotBS Open Beta:
- The first four days of the Pirates of the Burning Sea open beta will be reserved for our invited beta testers and members of the FilePlanet Founders Club.
- Open Beta is scheduled to begin worldwide on Friday, December 7, 2007, at which point FilePlanet subscribers can get in.
- After that itÂ’ll be open for everyone within a week.
- On December 7, North American players that arenÂ’t currently beta testers will have a chance to give Pirates of the Burning Sea a spin.
Regarding Australian and European pre-orders:
- We are still in negotiations with potential partners in Australia and canÂ’t announce anything until a deal is done. This is a very high priority for us and weÂ’ll share the news as soon as we get it. Rest assured that we havenÂ’t forgotten about our Aussie friends
- We will be sharing information specific to European pre-orders as soon as we receive the go-ahead from our partners in the UK. In addition, we are working with our friends at SOE to gather a list of retail locations and will publish that information just as soon as we receive it.
