There sure is a lot of love spreading this month of February. Walt Disney, for one, is out to give you guys a boxload of new Pirates of the Carribean Online (PotCO) content and more. This month, PotCO players will be treated to new customization options to further pimp that already blinged up Pirate avatars.
Included in the new options will be tattoo parlors, jewelry stores, and tailor shops. Apart from these, the first round of “emotes” will be coming to the game to give you guys a whole new dimension for communication. These emotes will surely make dialogue more fun as your very own avatars can dance, laugh, clap and celebrate. Your avatar will probably get to pop a champagne or something like that for that last emote.
To be introduced also would be some changes to the Lookout System. Now, you can instantly see your percentage of finding a match (high, medium, or low) for you to determine how much time is needed before a match is found. And then, you may now also get yourselves matched with other players that are the same notoriety level as you.
There are also improvements to the Quest tracking system. Upon reaching the “return to townsperson” stage of completing a Quest, just follow the ray of light and the yellow arrow at your feet to get back to your townsperson. Smooth, huh?
Anyway, expect more new content coming your way from Disney for Pirates of the Carribean Online. They promise there’ll be so much more adventure to come your way this year, including expanding ship customization, extending quest story lines, and adding more enemies and challenges. In the meantime, enjoy the goods of February, and the screenshots we’ve included here.
