PixelJunk Eden patch goes live this week, Encore version coming soon

Patch incoming! Q-Games prez Dylan Cuthbert has finally given out the US release date of the PixelJunk Eden patch: Thursday, January 15. If you’re having a hell of a time trying to finish the game, then I suggest waiting for the patch as it’s supposed to make things a bit easier.
What surprised me is that apparently the patch is still not out in the EU. The last time I posted about this patch Europe was supposed to get it earlier than the US, on December 19. Now those in the EU will get the patch shortly after the US does. Huh.
Apart from the release date announcement, Mr. Cuthbert also mentioned an “Encore” version of PixelJunk Eden. No details on this expansion yet, but it’s supposed to have some “crazy stuff”. A higher difficulty level for the ultra-masochists, perhaps? Stay tuned for updates.
