Play Gears of War At The Big Screen
The Xbox 360-exclusive title Gears of War is on public preview for all gamers to see, and play at a place you wouldn’t commonly associate with videogames. Anyone going to watch a pre-release screening of New Line Cinema‘s latest horror film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning in one of four major cities. If this doesn’t seem like a common occurrence to you then you are correct. In fact, this is the first time in entertainment history that a major motion picture and video game have been previewed together.
The “Match Made in Hell” promotion sees horror and gaming fans alike will have to register on the official Gears of War/Texas Chainsaw Massacre website beginning today in order to get the chance to see the movie and the game in a joint-preview. You will be able to see the combo at select AMC theater locations across the US – check the website out for locations. Gears of War is an adrenaline-pumped action game full of weapons, blood and gore; much like the Texas Chainsaw massacre games, and will be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 On November 7 2006.
