Play Ninja Gaiden Sigma demo for in-game rewards in final retail version

Ninja Gaiden Sigma: play demo for in-game rewards in final version - Image 1The demo for Ninja Gaiden Sigma has been out for quite some time now. Hell, some of us have probably played it to the bone, especially if you’re the competitive type (sorry, I’m still stuck somewhere above the 5,000 mark in the leaderboards). While that’s all and good as it is, things are looking up.

If you’re considering getting the full version of the game later this month when it comes out on retail, all of your time spent on the demo will be rewarded. Team Ninja and Tecmo have announced that the full version of the game will be able to feed off of your playtime on the demo. The more you play the demo, the more Yellow Essence you get when you start the game.

That’s going to give you a head start on your slash-a-thon journey as Ryu. As some of you might know, Yellow Essence is the game’s form of currency, which allows you to purchase power-ups and items. So, the earlier you get those babies fired up, the easier it’ll be to beat the game during your first run through.

Ride like the wind, tread like a ninja. If you haven’t downloaded the demo yet, you’re missing half your life.
