Play safe: Thrustmaster’s T-Protect
Get a grip, kid. Literally. While some controller shells are only there for aesthetic value, didn’t our parents always tell us to use protection when we play with our Wiis? After all, you wouldn’t want a two thousand dollar repair fee to undo a TV-smashing accident.
Thrustmaster has released their T-Protect line of Wii remote and Nunchuk sleeves that come both in black and white (US$ 10 each). The non-slip, shock-resistant grips provide protection in all the right areas without obscuring any of the buttons (including the battery panel).
They also have the T-Charge which acts as both a Wiimote + Nunchuck stand and battery charger in one. You plug the dock via USB to your Wii console and charge the batteries to make sure you stay in the game. The T-Charge costs US$ 25.
