PlayOnline team supports good Final Fantasy Online player events

Yeah, Backstreet's back, all right! (Oh noes!)Good news for Tobli, if he wants to set up Yunapalooza 2007 in Vana’diel!  (Which will require a crossover, come to think of it; perhaps there’s a Twilight Zone-like Save Crystal somewhere…). Based on their experiences working with the organizers of the “Laughter Mania” Final Fantasy XI player event, PlayOnline is glad to present their OCR staff: the Online Community Relations team, the people who put the “Play(Online)” in “Player Events” (in other words, support your player event).

Like any good community relations team, OCR manages liaisons and communications between the players and PlayOnline. With regards to player events like Laughter Mania, OCR is your one-stop shop to discuss organization, venues, support from official Moogle guides, transportation to and from the player event, and providing non-buyable goods that turns your player event into a fiesta extravagante, like, for example, Meteor… er, we mean fireworks. Meteor is used to celebrate something else entirely… Not only does OCR handle in-game player events, they also do live events in the U.S., too, such as the U.S. Fan Festival.

Of course, it better be a darn good event you’re holding to receive the OCR seal of approval and support services, and for this, the team suggests racking up experience points holding your own small-scale player events. Being more knowledgeable in the ways of pleasing online party animals will translate to greater chances of receiving support from OCR.

Just remember: when it’s a wedding (Ashe), a funeral (Ashe again), a graduation ball (SeeD), a concert (Selphie-poo and the SeeDs!), or a Battle Royale to the Bloody End (Dio… ugh, that spandex again…), when in Vana’diel, OCR is there to support your party needs.
