PlayStation Day 08: Killzone 2 won’t come out this year, new video released

We’re pretty sure that a number of gamers are anxiously waiting for Guerrilla Games‘  Killzone 2 to come out. Unfortunately, Sony revealed during PlayStation Day 08 that  we won’t be seeing it in retail stores until next year. To help tide things over until then, they did show a video of the game in action. While Guerrilla Games hasn’t given an official release date for Killzone 2, quite a number of gamers were expecting it to come out by this year. Unfortunately, this won’t be the case. Sony revealed during the PlayStation Day 08 that the game will be released in February 2009. Since the game will be playable during the event, you might want to keep checking back here to find out what it plays like.

Gamers might also want to know that a new video for the game was revealed. It’s pretty much what most would expect to find in the game, lots of explosions and shooting set in an industrial area.

So there you have it, Killzone 2 will not be arriving this year and a new video for the game has been released.
