PlayStation Eye-Move bundle will cost less in Japan
The standalone PlayStation Move will set you back fifty bucks, while the bundle with the PlayStation Eye that it needs to work with will be at a hundred. If you’re willing to wait until its release in Japan, you might actually save a few hard-earned dollars.

PlayStation Move will launch in the US on September 19th, but Japan won’t get it until October 21st. The good news is if you want to import, the bundled PlayStation Eye, PlayStation Move, and the Sports Champions launch title will only cost you ¥ 5,980 yen – that’s just US$ 67 compared to the US$ 100 if you get it at your nearest retailer. Of course, there’ll be shipping costs depending where you live.
Typically, new PS3 games are pricier in Japan. While it’s US$ 60 in the US, it’s ¥ 6,980 (US $78) to ¥ 8,190 yen (US$ 91) in the land of the Rising Sun. Now that you may potentially save a few bucks trying to import, now could be a good time.
