PlayStation Home: Beta Trial site loaded
As a follow-up to yesterday’s PlayStation Home announcement (and included trailers), Sony has just launched a site to herald the upcoming Beta release of this PlayStation Network-based online community. The site currently only hosts the Home Beta Trial Agreement page, as well as the customary Privacy Policy/Terms and Conditions section, though new content is of course expected to be added within the next few months.
PlayStation Home, according to the site’s description, will provide PS3 owners with an online community to “interact, communicate, join online games, shop, share content and even build their own personal spaces”. The service is bound to be released as a free download by Fall of this year.
For those wondering about the service’s sign-up mechanics, be reminded that you have to be at least 18 years old to participate. There is also the requisite Non-disclosure agreement, so just keep in mind that you won’t be able to share your Home Beta experience with the world just yet. Sign-ups are also expected to begin soon, so watch out for it.
