While PlayStation Home still has loads of other features to enjoy, it’s still a bummer to find out that video sharing has been taken out of the open beta. No news on whether or not the feature will make it into the final version either.

The video sharing feature was supposed to let gamers share movies with their friends in their own virtual apartments, just like in real life. Unfortunately, this is virtual life, and such a feature might be stepping over legal boundaries.

Jack Buser, the director of PlayStation Home, reveals that they are still “looking into” adding the feature. According to Wired.com, Buser described the feature saying that “Sony‘s approach to ‘user-generated content’ was likely to be more of a ‘Lego-block’ structure, in which Sony gives users the parts and lets them create what they want.”
