PlayStation Network: Mortal Kombat II details and screens
The release date of the supposed Mortal Kombat II on the PlayStation Network was given quite a babality and pushed back from March to this month. As it stands, the resurrected 1993 arcade classic from Midway Games is now slated for an April 12 roll out, still clocked at US$ 4.99 as previously planned.
- All original MKII characters are back (I get dibs on Baraka!), plus the bosses and unlockable opponents
- 10 different levels to choose from (The Pit, please!)
- Online leaderboards for player ranking
We know some of you guys have been waiting for this. I for one have MKII notched at the top of my Mortal Kombat list. I’m not saying it was the best in all aspects, but for me, it had the most impact and the most memorable playing experience in the series. Any one want to challenge that? I just got one word for you: TOASTYYY!
