Playstation Portable 10,000,000 Shipment Achieved!

Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEI) today announced that the Playstation Portable (PSP) has achieved 10,000,000 all around the world.

Began from December of year 2004, from the release in Japan, to North America in March of 2005, Asia in May till Europe in September, the PSP became the fastest platform that SCEI had introduced in to the gaming market.

Here is the breakdown of the shipment to the different country/area: (Until today, October, 21st. 2005.)

• Japan (including Asia): 3,000,000 (Release Date: December, 12th. 2004.)
• North America: 4,470,000 (Release Date: March, 24th. 2005.)
• Europe (PAL area): 2,530,000 (Release Date: September, 1st. 2005.)
