PMS Clan: ‘I Play Like A Girl. So What?’

PMS Clan

You know that hit song by Pop sensation Christina Aguilera, gracing the cover of GQ magazine’s June edition in her birthday suit, titled What A Girl Wants? What these girls from PMS want are ammo. PMS or Pandora’s Mighty Warriors, is the largest and most competitive all-female Xbox Live Clan. Specializing in the First Person Shooting (FPS) Genre, they train hard to put bullets right in between your eyes.

Composed of women from all walks of life – students, professionals, mothers – they all have one common thread together which is their dedication to gaming. They hold regular tournaments and events to improve their skills and test them out by taking part in national competitions, earning accolades from their gamer peers.

Their immense popularity has been a subject of much-heated debates from both sides of the spectrum. Some gamers feel that this is more of a publicity stunt by Microsoft, to lure red-blooded males sign up for XBox Live. Others, especially, “real” female gamers, might feel that they aren’t a genuine representation of what female gamers are about. There also have been much talk about their Gamerscore in their respective XBox Live Profiles. Most say that they have too low a score to be calling themselves “Pros” while others are speculating that they have a glamour and shadow account.

Whatever the case may be, if they are or aren’t, Microsoft’s poster girls to represent female gamers, let us be content with the notion that there are females that actually knows how to pwn a no0b.
