Pokemon Battle Revolution on Wii
It was previously reported that a Pokemon game will be created for Nintendo’s game console Wii (then called Revolution) and we haven’t heard of anything since then. Now it finally has materialized – well, sort of. In the same media briefing where Nintendo President Satoru Iwata announced that September will be the month of months for Wii enthusiasts, an in-game shot used in the presentation featured our beloved pocket monsters, with a current working title of Pokemon Battle Revolution.
The image is showing Pikachu, Groudon, Wailord and Deoxys squaring up for a Pokebattle. The panels above showing health points promises a more interactive PvP (Pokemon versus Pokemon) battle. Being a die-hard Pokemon fan (of the red and blue versions, definitely not the cartoon) myself, I’m having tons of imagined possibilities regarding its gameplay using the wiimote. Too bad all we have for now are speculations, but we’ll surely share with you details as they come.
The game is rumored to be released just a few months after Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond for the DS.
