The two titles hit the store on September 28. It was then immediately swarmed by eager, anticipating fans. The pictures here are just one of the many, similar sights all over the country. Accordingly, Pokemon Diamond sold 813,237 units and Pokemon Pearl reached 762,029. These numbers surpass prior first week sales of all the other Pokemon titles.
The genius Tsunekazu Ishihara was responsible for this latest craze. As of now, Pokemon is the second biggest game franchise ever. The latest titles sell for 4,800 YEN or around USD 40 should it come here at our side of the planet.
