Poll for Super Swing Golf 2 voice actors open

For those of us who couldn’t get enough of Tecmo‘s Super Swing Golf, that crazy golf game with the cute anime graphics and over-the-top special effects –  here’s an update to whet your appetites: the Japanese website of the game has just opened a poll to see who the fans want to voice the characters on the game’s sequel, Super Swing Golf 2.

Looking at the poll itself, there’s a pretty long list of voice actors to choose from – and it’s to note that in Japan, voice acting is quite a very big thing, what with the profession of a successful voice actor being the Japanese equivalent of a rock star.

If you’re that enamored with a particular voice actor and can read enough Japanese to decipher the many strings of script, you should probably put a vote in. Although it may not mean much – as the voting site itself carries a warning that the top choice may not be at all voicing for the game.
