Power Stone 1 & 2 come to PSP
At it?s Gamers Day event in Los Angeles, Capcom announced that they will be releasing a port of Dreamcast classic beat-em-up Power Stone on the PSP. As if that wasn?t good enough news, Capcom are combining both the original and Power Stone 2 into one brand-new PSP UMD. Power Stone Collection will even add four-player wireless gaming to the mix, so that (providing you can find three other PSP and game owning friends) you can recreate the frantic multiplayer action of the Dreamcast originals.
Power Stone is one of the most-requested games from Capcom?s back catalogue for a modern sequel, so maybe this handheld re-release will keep the diehard fans happy until they get their wish. Power Stone?s simplistic beat-em-up action was enhanced by the interactive scenery of it?s imaginatively-designed levels. Most objects found on the playing fields could be picked up and used as weapons, and the four-fighters-at-any-time mechanic guaranteed frantic action.
