Pre-Orders for Wii Games Open at GameStop
For those who read that too fast, system pre-orders for Wii games aren’t available yet. However, you are now able to pre-order Wii games. RawmeatCowboy at Go Nintendo was able to pre-order Red Steel and Rayman Raving Rabbids and can now look forward to receiving his games on day 1. However, the sales representative had no idea when they’d be accepting pre-orders for the Wii system. Hopefully soon because I’m getting restless…
According to rumours, PS3 and Wii preorders won’t be taken until September. I find this to be just a bit unbelievable… I just can’t think of a reason they’d wait so late to take pre-orders. If it really is true, I’ll be passing on EB Games and just pre-ordering at Toys R Us. For those wondering, Toys R Us (at least in Canada) started taking pre-orders for the systems a while ago. You might want to check with them to see how many systems were pre-orders first though. My location had received around 20 pre-orders for Wii when I asked.
