Prey Developer Update
Human Head Studio’s move to a new office may have sidetracked the team a little bit, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have development updates on their First Person Shooting game, Prey. Amidst the dust and piles of boxes, the team has done some cranking on Xbox 360 bugs and has fixed a couple of pesky ones relating to memory management.
The PC demo for the game is nearly complete, with only the intro and exit screens being worked on. All the text in the demo will be sent out for translation and after the demo goes through quality checks, then it’ll be good to go. Venom will be working on the 360 version, which is pretty much identical to the PC version.
Prey Project Lead Chris Rhinehart is excited about the “pretty big demo”. Though it won’t give a away a third of the game, he says there’s still a lot of content. He estimates that it should take an hour or two to get through the demo. Well, the wait won’t be much longer. So, keep those trigger-happy fingers warmed up.
