Prey gets demo on June 22
3D Realms today revealed that the demo for the long-awaited first person shooter will appear on Xbox Live Marketplace on June 22. It will include 5 levels of the game, with both single-player and multi-player modes enabled – no information has been given out regarding what levels we’re talking about exactly. We also don’t have an idea about the file size yet either, but expect details like these to follow in the coming weeks.
Players will then be able to fully explore the mysterious Sphere with the game’s protagonist Tommy on July 10. Prey has come a long, long way since development started in 1995, a way bearing some resemblance to the Duke Nukem Forever‘s except that in this case you’ll still be among the living when the game gets released.
Stay tuned for more updates, we’ll let you know once the demo’s up.
