Ubisoft has announced over the press wire that the PSN remake of the classic 1989 Prince of Persia will be rolling out this week. If the next-gen cel-shaded Persia game won't be coming out for another month yet, then this PSN title could help tide over all the waiting.
The Prince is back. Well, he's been back a couple of times in the past already (doing his own time distortion along the way - he can fit well into Marvel and DC's ret-conned timelines, I'll give him that), but true enough, he's back... again.

PoP Classic is taking the retro original and sprucing it up with a next-gen make-over. The same side-scrolling platforming elements are still there, but as a bonus, the developers have added new traps and puzzles along the way.
