Prince of Persia: Rival Blades Coming to DS?

Never count a good man, or a prince in this case, down. He has more tucked up his sleeves to get up again and again.

Last time the Battles of Prince of Persia was with DS, it never really fell in favor with a lot of gamers. It actually had an average ratio rating of 54%. There were some people who said that this will be the end run of the Prince of Persia franchise with the DS. However, we just stumbled upon some great news saying that Ubisoft will be trying to revive the faltering series.

The Office of Film and Literature of Australia recently listed a new Prince of Persia game among its archives. They printed the title as Prince of Persia: Rival Blades. Is this a game port of the Prince Persia: The Two Thrones (Prince of Persia: Rival Blades was the original title before it was changed to Two Thrones) to the DS or a whole new game?

According to a Ubisoft representative, they’re flagging a DS version coming in the future. Knowing most DS games, it’s much more suited for the younger gamers out there, so the Prince will have to be a bit more tame this time around. No notes as to when the release will be. Rest assured that we will be on it as soon as we get wind of it!
