Those who have been waiting for the Nintendo Wii launch Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, should be pleased to know that Konami has just sent a press release informing us that it should be out by late March in Europe.
It was revealed almost a month ago that Japanese gamers could have PES 2008 beginning February. Anyway, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 is part of the long-running franchise that is also known as Winning Eleven.
The Wii version of the latest entry will be home to motion-sensitive controls that will allow players to control the characters and the ball with the Wiimote and Nunchuk. There are also six game modes for players to try out, not to mention the full Mii support put in by Konami.
“It was vital that the Wii version of PES 2008 made full use of the hardwareÂ’s innovative control system, and we are extremely pleased with what the team has come up with,” commented Konami’s PES Team Leader Jon Murphy.
PES 208 is also available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and mobile platforms.
