Those who’ve picked up a copy of Professor Layton and the Curious Village may be hard pressed to finish the game in the space of 24 hours. It’s actually been less time than that since the game was released and downloadable content is already available.

Looks like fans can look forward to more mind-bending puzzles in the future: it’s reported that a new puzzle will be out every week. Fans can download the new puzzle wirelessly through the DS’s Wi-Fi service.

Earlier this month, Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime mentioned that the DS will be getting the downloadable content feature, so we might be seeing more games receive DLC in the future.

The downloadable puzzles for Professor Layton and the Curious Village don’t get erased when you turn off your DS so you don’t have to worry about downloading it all over again when you’re not able to solve it the first time and you’re forced to turn your unit off.
