Prophets of Sam certainly has a funny ring to it, but if you’re looking for some action-packed FPS gunplay in the future, you may want to look them up.

The indie studio is working on its first-ever project for the PC, called Serious Sam Forever. Not a lot of details have been given about the game, but they’re apparently working to make a total conversion of the previous Serious Sam games using Croteam‘s Serious Engine 2.

Despite the lack of information though, a quick look at their site also announces that they’re looking for Level Designers and Sound Engineers to round out their team, so if you’re looking for something to do, you may want to let them know you’re interested.

Now, the only thing we find ourselves wondering about when it comes to Serious Sam Forever is their naming choice. The most prominent use of “Forever” in an FPS happens to be Duke Nukem Forever, which doesn’t really start them out on a good foot. Still, you have to love their gumption. What do you guys think of a Serious Sam comeback?
