The PSP homebrew app Protect-me is now in its final version. Homebrew developer maxthebest has started work on its little revisions to perfect the final build, the most recent being Protect-me Final release revision 0.1.
If you missed out on the previous releases, Protect-me is a homebrew application that allows you to lock your unit with a password. Here is the changelog for version 4.0 of the program:
- PSP SLIM and lite now supported (and so is the HX firmware)
- Added a new function: a historic: it registers in PSP/SYSTEM/hist.txt the day and hour
- When you logged in and if the password was accepted or not0
- Now, even if there is no password set, the prx works and writes the connection times in the hist.txt file
- You can now go from “a” to “z” directly.
And here is the changelog for revision 0.1 of the Final Release:
- Now you enter the password with a keyboard.
- You can’t see the xmb behind the password.
Users are advised to check out the readme included in the archive before using program. The readme includes the installation instructions for the application. Please visit our forums for questions or discussions on the app.
