PS3 a bargain… if you cared for Blu-ray.
Who would have thought, but the PS3 can actually be a wonderful US$ 600 bargain! Well, that is, if you actually cared to watch Blu-Ray movies, says Crunch Gear.
In any case, if you do the math, it turns out that purchasing a separate Blu-Ray disc drive can actually still cost you an extra US$ 150 (and that’s the tag price, so we’re assuming that tax isn’t even included yet). So, buying a PS3 can actually be the better choice since you get a Blu-Ray disc drive PLUS something to play games on. You’d have to buy the Blu-Ray remote separately though.
A question remain, though, and that would be: is this actually the beginning of the king of all cosmos’ Ken Kutaragi‘s AV-centric PS3 and we don’t even know it?
