PS3 Enchanted Arms release date and price finalized

Earlier, we mentioned that From Software‘s Enchanted Arms was coming to the PS3. What we weren’t able to tell you was the actual date of its arrival to the PS3 fanbase.

Well, starving RPG fanboys will starve no longer, as From Software recently announced the release date for the previously Xbox 360-only game. [eM] -eNCHANT arM-, the Japanese name of the game, will hit Japanese stores on January 25, 2007. It won’t just be a rehash of the game, as they’ll be adding new cutscenes and extra wrinkles in the storyline to entice people who played it on the Xbox 360 to try going through it again. The game is priced at approximately US$ 71, so if you’re the type that loves import games, you may just want to pre-order through your usual channels.

As for an American release, IGN’s report on it states that they asked Ubisoft, the game’s US and EU publisher for comment on whether it’ll see release elsewhere. They didn’t comment though, so you may want to persuade a publisher to get to work on taking this baby out for a PS3 run in the US and Europe.
