You guys might want to check out your PlaySation 3s now. A new firmware update has just gone live, version 2.52.
PSN Operations Director Eric Lempel has posted the changelog at the PS US Blogs, so to those of you a bit wary about the update, at least you know what you’re getting. It’s actually just a couple of bugfixes, very minor. Still, better squish that bug before it grows into an even bigger problem later, right?
- The playback quality of some PS3 format software has been improved.
- A text entry issue that occurs when using the on-screen keyboard, USB keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard with some PS3 format software has been addressed.
