PS3 FW 1.3 already here!?!
In case you guys haven’t figured it out yet, your PlayStation 3’s firmware needs some constant updating. It was only recently when 1.11 hit America and Japan, and already, we have another one.
This time, it’s System update 1.3. What this does is to employ some quick fixes on old TVs with 1080i. It’s been said that we’ll be getting more of these stuff as we enjoy our consoles more. So don’t be surprised if you find out soon enough that this will be a monthly thing for you and your console. Yeah, so it could be a tad too tedious. But hey, at least Sony‘s extending some really neat service, eh?
Another thing this update does, is probably provide more answers to the connectivity issues between PS3 and PSP. We just earlier reported about another update for Sony’s handheld in the form of firmware 3.02. So it’s fairly safe to assume that the two updates for Sony’s gaming hardwares could be related. What do you think?
