PS3 To Be Unleased With 3D Glasses?!

As the release of Sony’s next-generation console PS3 draws near, the rumors about it run abound. Negative ‘suppositions’ about its features and technology are understandably circulating the net especially after the ‘alleged’ disappointing showing last E3.

Now I don’t care what others may say, but judging from the specs released at the last expo, PS3 is definitely very promising with its arguable edge hardware-wise. The same hardware that could perhaps pave the way to an innovative technology – just exactly what that technology is not yet known to us; but here’s something that could give us a hint.

Some info has come within our hands thru the netvine that come November, PS3 will be released geared and equipped with the earlier announced specs – and a pair of red/blue glasses… Yep, according to an insider, Sony is planning to include a pair of 3D glasses to specifically address a certain feature of the console, adding that the “extra 29 cents in manufacturing cost is worth it,“.

Now what exactly those glasses are for is for you to surmise. I could give you my own 2 cents, but I’m sure what I’ll say is pure ‘speculation’. What I’m very sure of, is it could be something that’ll finally settle the debate on whether PS3 is living up to the hype. We could all use a good news, in this case rumor, especially with the PR moves another gaming company has been producing this past weeks (wink, wink).
