Stephanie Fernandez, Localization Producer for PS3’s Eternal Sonata (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), blogs about the exclusive content we can expect from this incarnation of the JRPG title.

She mentions that there will be additional story elements incorporated into the game and many of the old scenes have been reworked. There will be two new characters, Serenade and Crescendo. It’s been hinted that these two are going to be very handy given that certain items in the game that are usable only by them.

Since music is commonly cited as one of the game’s best features,  three new Chopin compositions have been added, performed by Stanislav Bunin. New quests, new dungeons and new monsters round out the list of features and promises a worthwhile, if somewhat late, Eternal Sonata version for the Playstation 3.

Eternal Sonata was released originally released on the Xbox 360 on September of last year (North America) and will be available for the Playstation 3 on the 21st of October, 2008. Sorry to our European friends since you wonÂ’t see this one till February of next year.

If you’re interested in the game, feel free to check out its demo in the Playstation store.

Buy: [Eternal Sonatata (Playstation 3, Xbox 360)]
