PS3’s XMB to allow virtual interaction via PlayStation Eye?

There are already several rumors floating around about PS3’s upcoming in-game XMB, as well as Photoshopped images of an alleged stolen picture of the XMB menu. But that’s not all. Another rumor has it that Sony is planning something a bit more high-tech with the PlayStation 3’s XMB: interaction via the PlayStation Eye.
So how would it work? Apparently, users can use a virtual interaction scheme with the PlayStation Eye, allowing them to browse through the XMB menu with hand motions. So imagine yourself making all those fancy hand movements as you peruse through media such as photos, music, and even your friend’s list in the XMB. Cool, yes?
