PSN EU update delayed: FIFA Soccer 09 demo not yet live

We’ve gotten word that Europe‘s PlayStation Network update for today hit a snag. It looks like the FIFA Soccer 09 demo that was promised will be arriving late. Could it go live within the day or maybe tomorrow? Keep your fingers crossed.

Today’s update for Europe‘s PlayStation Network just hit a snag. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like the demo for FIFA Soccer 09 will be arriving late.

We’re not certain when this week’s update will go live – maybe later, maybe tomorrow morning – but don’t worry, they’re trying to get the new content up as soon as possible. Community Team Leader MusterBuster at the PlayStation EU boards says that “a minor technical problem has caused a delay” without going into specifics.

There’s been no word yet if the North American update for today will be delayed or not. Check back for more info in case we hear anything.
