PSN Europe update: Metal Gear Online Beta, Warhawk expansion, Lair pack now available

Europe’s PlayStation network has recently updated with their copy of the Metal Gear Online Beta download. Also following along are updates for Lair, Warhawk, and Grand Theft Auto 4. More details are available in the full article. Thanks goes to Eclipze_ for tipping us off regarding this news.

Thanks to a tip from reader Eclipze_, we’re letting you guys know that Europe’s PlayStation Store has updated with their download for Konami‘s Metal Gear Online beta.

Following along MGO is the arrival of the equally anticipated Operation Broken Mirror expansion pack for Warhawk.

At a cost of £ 3.99 (about US$ 8 / € 5), this expansion pack will include some tasty new features including new maps, and a force-field emitting APC. Lair players get the free Deadly Dragon Pack, while Grant Theft Auto 4 will be getting the new Everyone’s A Rat video trailer.

If Europe’s MGO download is anything like its US port, then it’ll require 741 Mb of HD space. The guys over at the PlayStation Europe forums also note that you’ll have to pick up another update after you install the game.
