It’s what you’ve been waiting for, people! This coming Tuesday, the PlayStation US Blog will finally be launching the PSN Sign-On for the PlayStation.Blog community.
Once this goes live, you can expect some big changes, such as the need of using a PlayStation ID in order for you to be able to comment on the blog. This implies that your PS.Blog login will no longer be accepted. So if you still don’t have a PSN ID, then we suggest you get one now.
Don’t worry about your old comments. They won’t be deleted, and you can still come back and check if you missed up on any grammar or whatnot. In fact, upon logging in for the first time using your PSN, you can choose to merge your PS.Blog account with your PSN. Thus, it follows that all your comments will be now be placed under your PSN ID.
Even your avatars get an upgrade as you can choose one now straight from the PlayStation 3. Again, if you still don’t get an ID, you better make one now. And if you forgot your password for your PS.Blog account, it’s very easy for you to retrieve it when you merge it with your PSN account. Merging will probably be available for at least a month or two, so better start crackin’ before they take it down.
Have fun!
