PSN US – PlayStation Store Update for week July 10

PSN - Image 1It’s like the PlayStation Store borrowed some of Santa’s eager, little helpers for Spring Break to shower us with loads of game offerings in its latest update. Be it for your PS3 or PSP, there’s something for everyone out there, and the best part is they’re FREE! We’re sure you can’t wait to find out what’s their goods, so come on down (after the jump)!

It’s time to clean up and make room on your PlayStation 3 hard drive, guys! Sony‘s PlayStation blog has just posted what’s in store for you in the latest PlayStation Store US update, and you can bet there’s a LOT.

To start off, how would you like some new add-on game content for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2? This gift pack DLC is a thank you gift to the community from Ubisoft, hence it’s free. In the package, you’ll find brand new Multiplayer content, with a free map pack containing three maps to enhance your multiplayer experience: Calypso, Casino, Murdertown – Dark and CQB Training – Dark.

If you’re up for some rocking tunes, then expand your music library with Rock Band‘s brand new song tracks from Rush and Red Hot Chili Peppers for just under US$ 2.00:

  • Working Man (Vault Edition) – Rush (US$ 1.99)
  • Closer to Heart – Rush (US$ 1.99)
  • Snow (hey Oh) – Red Hot Chili Peppers (US$ 1.99)

Looking for Game Demos? For free? No problem, they’ve got your back:

  • Siren: Blood Curse demo
  • Monster Madness: Grave Danger demo
  • WALL-E demo
  • The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian demo

There are also an abundance of free game videos, such as the Assault trailer for SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation, Siren: Blood Curse‘s Story trailer, and Super Stardust HD‘s Add-On Intro, to only name but a few. There’s also the movie Quarantine free on Blu-ray for the movie buffs out there.

PSP owners, don’t mope. There’s also something for you in this update. By checking out the PlayStation Store for PC, you can download games onto your PSP. Right now there’s the latest confrontation trailer for SOCOM: Confrontation, and like everything else on this list, it’s free!
