PSP-3000 rocking new motherboard

A new motherboard has been spotted inside a red PSP-3000 by PSPGen member and PSP disassembler, Flasher.

 

A new motherboard has been spotted inside a red PSP-3000 by PSPGen member and PSP disassembler, Flasher.

 

The new mobo, TA-93, reportedly has a different processor compared to the TA-90 — the microprocessor is no longer there and other components have been reduced in size.

 

Other changes include a new spring attachment for the UMD slot and new trigger mountings. The PSP itself comes loaded with firmware 6.20.
