PSP camera accessory not compatible with PSP Go

If you’re planning to play Invizimals or EyePet but only have a PSP Go, then you’re out of luck. Apparently the camera accessory Sony is readying for a North American release along with the aforementioned games is only compatible with pre-Go PSPs.

Posting in the comments section of the US PlayStation Blog, senior social media specialist Sid Shuman said, “No, the current camera will only fit onto the larger PSP-3000 model.”  Further on down he added, “No workaround that I know — the camera was designed for the pre-go models only.”

 

There’s still hope for you Go owners, though, but only if you don’t mind spending a little extra money. There’s actually a PSP Go converter cable that’s compatible with the camera, but it’s only available in Japan.
