Charnold passed by the QJ.NET PSP Development Forums earlier to announce the release of PSP Dungeons: Assault Run – 3D Editor version 1.0.2. Developer charnold visited the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce the release version 1.0.2 of the PSP Dungeons: Assault Run 3D Editor.
As a recap for the new readers, this application will enable you to create your own custom maps for the Dungeons Assault Run homebrew game for the Sony PlayStation Portable.
New to this release are controls for fog effects, along with options for you to load complete maps into the game. Here are the rest of the change notes for the 3D Editor’s version 1.0.2:
- new properties per maparea:
- fog on/off
- fog color
- fog start/end distance
- z-clipping distance
- new property per map:
- load complete map into game on/off
- other editor changes:
- rotate and mirror local texture coordinates
- confirmation before deleting items
- other game changes:
- md3 object culling against viewing frustum
Two versions of the editor available for download: One is for PCs running on Windows OS, the other is for PCs running on Mac OS X.
