It’s been a while since Mediumgauge has updated the PlayStation Portable-organizer application, PSP Filer. Fortunately, the developer has recently announced that a new build for the program is finally available for download, along with a lot of new changes included in PSP Filer v4.9.

This nifty app contains several additions such as a new Bulgarian language support mode and a feature to change file name length. Also, a bug fix was included to play .wav files with low sample rates that the program could not previously read.

Anyway, here’s the complete set of changes included since our previous coverage of PSP Filer:

  • added Bulgarian mode.
  • added a feature to change length of drawing file name (short, middle, long).
  • removed a feature to mark/unmark all of subfolderÂ’s files by analog left/right.
  • changed to ignore extract-memory-size written in a RAR file because Filer could not extract it that expects more than 22MB.
  • fixed a bug that Filer could not play low sampling rate WAV files correctly.

The homebrew app comes with several documentation files so please make sure to read them before installing it into your handheld. In any case, we hope that your find the latest version of PSP Filer useful.
