*UPDATE*
Eric Lempel took to the PlayStation Blog to announce that the firmware update v6.00 “will be available soon.” Looks like he didn’t hear of it having been released already earlier.
Nonetheless, he gives us an exact list of the changelog, and so we find that it is a minor update – just as he said. From the looks of it, the items that were correct from the leaked changelog would be the added new theme colors under the Theme Settings, and the renaming of the Network Update to System Update. As for the other goods, they’re not listed here by Lempel.
- For those of you looking to customize your XMB (XrossMediaBar), a few new colors will be added under the Theme Settings. These new theme colors can be used on PSP models 2000 or after (PSP-2000, 3000 and N1000).
- A security patch has been added.
- [Network Update] has been renamed as [System Update].
